Quovant was “on the move” at the 21^st annual America’s Claims Event in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 3-day conference focused on property and casualty insurance claims; specifically, how the insurance industry can capitalize on technological advances across the globe. While there, Quovant Client Account Managers Mené Jividen and Ashley Montgomery attended industry workshops and spoke with industry leaders regarding the growing need for legal-spend management and analytics in the insurance market and beyond.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we wanted to take a moment to appreciate the things that matter most to us.

It's no surprise to most of our clients that legal fees have been on the rise. A recent study by Citi Private Bank looked at some of the data behind this trend, and found that legal fees for the first half of 2016 grew even more sharply than for the same period last year. Most of this growth can be attributed to an increase in billing rates, but an increase in head count at the firms and declining productivity are also to blame.
